Rotary joint leakage reasons and countermeasures

Reason 1: The concentricity of the hollow shaft and the rotating body is not enough. Disposal measures: check the size and accuracy, adjust the fixed connection with the rotating body.

Reason 2: The accuracy of the assembly machine is low (heavy straightness of the end face, large radial and axial clearance), and large vibration. Disposal measures: find out the cause, repair and match equipment.

Reason three: foreign matter such as sludge and dirt enters the contact surface of the friction pair. Disposal measures: add filters or decontamination devices, and modify the type of rotary joints.

Reason four: The use pressure, temperature, speed, etc. exceed the range of the optional rotary joint. Disposal measures: Research the operating conditions, ask the research unit or the manufacturer, and change the type of rotary joint.

Reason 5: The lubricating grease was not filled in the specified time, and the lubricating grease was not changed when used at high temperatures. The ball bearing sound was abnormal or damaged. Disposal measures: regularly refill or re-equip lubricating grease according to its use regulations, and replace bearings.

Reason 6: The friction surface of the seal friction pair is deformed, and the amount of wear of the compensation ring is large. Disposal measures: Grind the friction surface or replace spare parts when there is an abnormality.

Reason 7: Attached to the deformation, aging, cracking and adhesion of the sealing ring. Disposal measures: Replace with new auxiliary seals.

Reason eight: the bellows is broken or damaged. Disposal countermeasures: analyze the reasons and replace with new elastic elements.

Reason 9: The concentricity of the deflection parts of the compensation ring and the empty shaft is not enough. Disposal measures: In addition to installing suspenders and supports, strengthen the acceptance inspection of product parts.
